Published on January 6, 2020, Nairobi Senator Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen has expressed confidence in winning the graft case against Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.

Murkomen, the leader of the majority side in the senate, stated that he has all it takes to shame the DPP's office for presenting a half-baked case in court.

He added that he has a vast experience in law, having represented and won many similar cases before.

Murkomen clarified that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will be in for a shock as he will see to it that Governor Sonko gets acquitted at the end of the sagacious allegations' trial.

The Elgeyo-Marakwet senator criticized the DPP for refusing to be impartial, describing his actions as partisan and biased, leaning on populism.

Murkomen made it clear that Sonko would eventually walk with his shoulders high, vowing to teach the DPP a legal lesson he would never forget.
