January 6, 2020, marked a special day for the renowned filmmaker Tyler Perry, as he welcomed his son, Aman Tyler Perry, into the world.
The baby's mother, Gelila Bekele, is an Ethiopian model and activist who has been in a long-term relationship with Perry since 2009.
Despite their fame, the couple prefers to keep a low profile and has chosen not to expose their son to the limelight.
Speaking about fatherhood, Perry expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, 'Every cliché is true, man. Just having an opportunity to mold a great human being is a wonderful thing.'
He also praised his son's godmother, Oprah Winfrey, describing her as 'wonderful' and 'everything you think she is.'
