Ground for God's Gospel Ministries, a church in Kenya, was left reeling after pastor Elisha Misiko allegedly killed his wife during a service.

According to Martias Chacha, a church leader, Elisha had a history of violence against his wife, with several instances of him trying to kill her.

Chacha recalled that Elisha was once arrested and detained for three months for threatening to kill his wife.

Victor Wandera, a congregant, added that Elisha had a short temper and that the congregation was used to his habits.

However, Wandera expressed shock at the latest incident, stating that he didn't know what stories Elisha heard before taking the decision to kill his wife.

It is reported that Elisha and his wife had parted ways due to their disagreements over the church.

Tragically, Elisha also took his own life after stabbing himself three times in the stomach and slitting his throat.
