Published on January 6, 2020, Chelsea secured their place in the FA Cup fourth round with a convincing 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Callum Hudson-Odoi was instrumental in the victory, scoring one goal and assisting another in just six minutes.

Forest was awarded a penalty, but after a lengthy video assistant referee delay, the decision was overturned.

Chelsea soon doubled their lead when Hudson-Odoi's shot was parried, and Ross Barkley scored from close range.

Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised his team's performance as 'sensationally good' after Curtis Jones' stunning winner earned the Reds a 1-0 victory over Everton in the FA Cup third-round tie.

With nine changes from their previous match, including three debutants, Liverpool extended Everton's miserable record of Anfield failure, dating back to September 1999.

Lastly, West Ham overcame a spirited performance from League One side Gillingham to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
