On Sunday, Ulinzi Stars claimed a 2-0 victory over Posta Rangers in a Kenyan Premier League match at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, with the match taking place on January 5, 2020.
Enosh Ochieng opened the scoring for Ulinzi in the 33rd minute, beautifully controlling a Daniel Waweru cross and slotting calmly past Posta custodian Jairus Adira.
Posta Rangers had their chances, with Bill Oporia unleashing a volley that went inches wide at halftime, and Eliud Lokuwam forcing Adira into a finger tip save with a dipping volley from outside the box after the restart.
However, Ulinzi pulled ahead with a second goal in the 76th minute, courtesy of Oscar Wamalwa, who placed a low shot past Adira after receiving a defence-splitting pass from Omar Boraafya.
