On January 3, 2020, a terrifying incident occurred when Air Canada Flight 8-300, headed to Bagotville, lost one of its wheels just minutes after taking off from Montreal.

The plane, equipped with six tires, was able to land safely despite the loss of one wheel, with no reported injuries among the 49 passengers on board.

A passenger captured the incident on video, which was shared on social media, showing the wheel detaching from the plane's left main landing gear.

According to Air Canada spokesperson Manon Stuart, the pilots maintained complete control of the aircraft throughout the incident.

Stuart stated, 'Our pilots are well trained to deal with such situations. Our maintenance personnel in Montreal are conducting a thorough inspection of the aircraft to determine the cause and proceed with the necessary repairs.'
