On Sunday, Kenya's Malkia Strikers kicked off their 2020 African Olympics qualifying campaign with a thrilling 3-1 win over Egypt at the Palais polyvalent des sports (Paposy) Arena.

Despite losing the opening set 23-25, the Kenyans staged a remarkable comeback, taking the next three sets 25-15, 25-21, and 25-22 to secure a winning start.

Next up for Kenya is a match against Botswana on Monday.
