Published on January 5, 2020, Huddah Monroe, a Kenyan socialite and businesswoman, has shared her reasons for ending her relationships with older, wealthy men.
According to Huddah, she was 'sick and tired' of dating and sleeping with these men, citing disrespect and poor treatment as her reasons for ending the relationships.
'I wanna make one thing clear, I am not where I wanna be in life, but thank God I am not where I used to be,' Huddah said in a candid post.
She added that being with these men was 'so disrespectful' and that she was treated poorly, leading her to choose a new path.
'Now I look back and I know just because you are wealthy and I didn’t have sht. Now even flying me to a city is gonna take a lot of energy to wake up of my room to go and see a guy,' Huddah reflected.
Emphasizing the importance of independence, Huddah advised other women to learn how to be self-sufficient, stating that 'by the end of the day, being independent gives you so much power.'
'Don’t be fooled that oooh you won’t get a husband or you won’t get this. You will get whatever you want in life as long as you put your mind to it,' Huddah encouraged.
