On Saturday, Kakamega Homeboyz FC dominated Kisumu All Stars FC in a Kenyan Premier League match at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, winning 4-0.

Former Kenya international forward Allan Wanga scored two goals, while Peter Thiongo and David Okoth also found the back of the net.

Homeboyz mounted numerous attacks and counter-attacks throughout the match, collecting nine corners compared to Kisumu's two shots on target.

Thiongo opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after a right-wing cross from Moses Mudavadi.

However, Kisumu's Martin Okumu had a shot on the edge of the box parried over the crossbar by Homeboyz's Gabriel Andika in the 32nd minute.

Wanga scored his first goal in the 42nd minute, beating defender Charles Warinda to the ball.

After halftime, Homeboyz continued to press, with Okoth scoring the third goal in the 63rd minute.

As the match progressed, referee Carolyn Wanjala issued several verbal warnings to players from both sides due to rough play.

Wanga converted a penalty in the second half after Kisumu's Fabian Hosea handled the ball in the box.
