On December 31, 2019, Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris traveled to Ahmedabad, India, for spinal surgery, which she has confirmed was successful.
Passaris took to Facebook to share the news, saying, 'I flew to Ahmedabad, India on 31st December 2019 and successfully had Spinal Surgery the following day at CIMS Hospital. I thank God for the Gift of Life, my family for their unconditional love and everyone who whispered a word of prayer as I went in. #OfficiallyMadeOfTitanium.'
She has since posted updates and videos showcasing her progress, crediting the skilled nurses and doctors at CIMS Hospital for their care and support.
As Passaris begins the new year on the road to recovery, her resilience and determination serve as a testament to her strength and character.
