On January 3, 2020, Elizabeth Irungu, a former KBC presenter, took to social media to address Huddah Monroe's recent interview, in which she claimed to have been raped.
Irungu, who has also experienced trauma from a past encounter with a rapist, questioned the inconsistencies in Huddah's story.
She urged Huddah to stop using sexual violence as a means to gain attention and emphasized that such acts have no place in self-promotion.
