As the clock struck 12 am on New Year's Eve of 2019, Vipingo Ridge in Kilifi, Kenya, was abuzz with excitement. The scenic location, known for its tranquil atmosphere, had transformed into a vibrant party venue, hosting a Masquerade soiree that would be etched in the memories of its guests forever.

The event, dubbed The Masquerade party, was a night of decadence and mystery, where revelers donned flamboyant masks and let loose, enjoying music, food, drinks, and laughter amidst the picturesque setting of the rooftop.

According to historical records, Masquerade parties date back to 15th-century Venice, Italy, where they were a staple of the Renaissance movement. The tradition gained popularity in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries, marked by rich cultural heritage and artistic expression.

As the night wore on, the atmosphere at Vipingo Ridge became increasingly magical, with guests mingling and enjoying the festivities. The midnight sparkling toast was a highlight of the evening, with cheers and applause filling the air as the clock struck 12 am.

Located on 2,500 acres of stunning landscaped gardens, Vipingo Ridge is a beautiful gated community that offers the best of easy living at the Kenyan Coast. The community is designed with friendship at its core and features Africa's only PGA-accredited golf course in the coastal climes.

As one guest aptly put it, "Unforgettable in every way. That was the night." The Masquerade party at Vipingo Ridge was indeed an unforgettable experience, one that will be remembered for years to come.
