On January 3, 2020, former Coast Stima FC coach Joseph Oyoo made a significant move in his coaching career by joining Simba Apparel FC, a team in the FKF Mombasa County League.
According to team manager Collins Omondi Otieno, Oyoo has signed a lucrative two-year deal with the Changamwe-based club.
Coach Oyoo confirmed the development and expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, "I'm excited with the opportunity and I'm grateful to God for giving me this opportunity. My target is to take the club to greater heights notably the FKF National Division One League,"
With a wealth of experience, Oyoo joins Simba Apparel FC after coaching FKF National Super League side Coast Stima FC, as well as Spedag Ladies and Mombasa Olympic Ladies FC in the top-tier FKF Women Premier League.
His coaching career has also seen him lead St John's Girls Kaloleni to winning the Coast regional and national secondary schools girls football titles several times and bagging the East African title.
Under Oyoo's guidance, many talented players have been produced, including former and current women national football team Harambee Starlets players such as Lilian Nandundu, Cristine Nanjala, Mwanahalima Adam, and Elizabeth Katunga.
