On January 1, Nairobi County First Lady Primrose Mbuvi celebrated her birthday in style, surrounded by family and close friends at their home in Kikambala, Kilifi County.
The party, which was a typical display of wealth by the governor's family, featured a wide range of expensive drinks, including Moet & Chandon champagne, brandies, and whiskies.
Guests were treated to a great night, with bottles of 1500ml Moet & Chandon champagne in abundance. A single bottle of this luxury drink can cost between Sh10,000 and Sh20,000, depending on the location.
Photos from the event, which were shared on social media, showed Primrose and her daughters enjoying the celebration. One photo even captured a romantic moment between Governor Sonko and his wife, with the governor pictured kissing her before their guests.
