On January 2, 2020, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played down rumors of leaving Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old Gabon international, who has a year and a half left on his current deal with the Gunners, has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Inter Milan in recent weeks.

However, Aubameyang stated that he is committed to the Gunners at the moment and all news regarding him leaving the club are false.

"The English press likes to talk a lot. For now, I'm here. I'm 100 per cent here," Aubameyang told RMC Sport after the 2-0 win against Manchester United at the Emirates.

During the match, Aubameyang was taunted by a Manchester United fan who claimed he would be "in Phil Jones' pocket" during the game.

After the game, Aubameyang took a swipe at the United fans who filmed the clip, saying "They are sleeping already."

The win marked Mikel Arteta's first victory as the club's manager.
