Published on January 2, 2020, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has the authority to deregister teachers found guilty of misconduct under the TSC Act.
According to the Act, a teacher whose name is removed from the register ceases to be a teacher with effect from the date of removal.
The TSC has published the names of deregistered teachers, citing Section 30 of the TSC Act (2012), which states that individuals removed from the Register of Teachers cannot engage in teaching in any learning institution.
