Kandara MP Alice Wahome has sparked outrage among Kenyans after responding rudely to concerns over poor infrastructure in her constituency.

Wahome, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto, was confronted on social media over the deplorable state of a school in her constituency, with netizens accusing her of prioritizing Tangatanga rallies over her constituents' needs.

Responding to the criticism, Wahome claimed that upgrading school infrastructure was not her responsibility, stating, "I challenge those who have commented to tell me where in my contract as an MP i was given the job of fixing school infrastructure then you will make sense, Wajinga Nyinyi. Haters."

However, a look at her Twitter account reveals that she has launched infrastructure projects at various schools in her constituency, constructed using NG-CDF funds, leaving many wondering why she should fail to accept responsibility in the case of Kariguini primary school.

Wahome's response was met with widespread criticism, with many netizens demanding that she resign for failing to deliver on her promises. Others faulted her for her insensitive response, which many saw as dismissive of the plight of her constituents.

Wahome's comments have sparked a heated debate on social media, with many calling for her to take responsibility for the poor state of infrastructure in her constituency.
