On December 29, 2019, gospel artiste Bahati appeared on Citizen TV's Bambika show, hosted by Holy Dave Muthengi, Karwirwa Laura, DJ GeeGee, and Timeless Noel.
During the show, Bahati discussed his year, supporting local talents, and his plan to release his first-ever album early next year.
When asked about his relationship with Laura, Bahati jokingly said,
Kama kuna mtu nachat naye sana na me huomba Diana asijue ni huyu [If there’s a person I chat with a lot and pray my wife Diana doesn’t find out it is her (Laura Karwirwa). But we talk about music.
He expressed his desire to work with Laura in the future.
