December 29, 2019, marked a significant turning point in the life of Robettah, a Kenyan gay man who had been living a life of sin. In a series of posts on his Instagram account, Robettah revealed that he had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was leaving behind his sinful ways.
Robettah, who was once known as one of the sexiest Kenyan gays, had been contemplating suicide just a few months ago. However, after getting saved, he claims to have found joy, peace, and favor in his life.
He wrote on his Instagram account, 'I've got my mind made up and I won't turn back because I want to see my Jesus someday… Goodbye world, I stay no longer with you.. goodbye pleasure of sin, I stay no longer with you. I've made up my mind to go God's way the rest of my life … Born Born Born Again.. I thank God I'm born again.. I'm born of the water, the spirit and the blood, thank God I'm born again… Go tell my enemy I am under the rock, Jehovah hides me I am under his rock.. Only God Deserves Glory, I know I can't save all of you but remember to thank him and exalt God. Don't starve because praise and worship is the table of God.'
Robettah also revealed that after getting saved, he lost many friends and vowed not to backslide. He wrote, 'He has washed away all my sins and now I am a winner?God Is Good ✨. Since I got saved, I have lost friends I didn't know I could lose. But I have found a friend who will never let me down.'
As Robettah embarks on his new journey with Christ, many are left wondering if he will stop cross-dressing or not. Only time will tell if he will remain true to his newfound faith.
