As we celebrate the holiday season, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that there's only so much to go around. But what if we told you that there's enough to share?

Author Nerima Wako-Ojiwa shares a powerful lesson she learned at a conference in South Africa, where she was encouraged to take as many materials as she wanted, without limits. This was a stark contrast to the culture of scarcity she was used to, where people would rush to grab as much as possible before it ran out.

Wako-Ojiwa reflects on how this mentality of competition and scarcity has been ingrained in our societies, and how it affects our relationships and our ability to truly give and receive. She argues that by adopting a culture of abundance, we can create a more harmonious and happy community.

So, this holiday season, let's make a conscious effort to share the most we can, not just during this time, but every day next year. As Wako-Ojiwa says, 'When we learn that we can create enough to share, and we all receive, we are much happier.'
