December 29, 2019, marked a turning point for a mother-to-be who had to confront her own mother's behavior during the birth of her first child.
According to a post on Reddit, the expectant mother had initially allowed her mother to be present during the delivery, but things took a turn for the worse when her mother reached into her vagina and pulled her newborn's hair.
'My mother exclaimed 'her hair is so beautiful' and reached INTO my vagina and pulled her hair just to feel it, and I guess to be the first one to touch her,' the mother wrote.
She added that her daughter was born with a lock of hair sticking straight up on her head.
After the incident, the mother decided to ban her mother from attending the birth of her second child, citing concerns about her mother's lack of boundaries and disrespect for her personal space.
Many people on Reddit agreed with the mother's decision, with one commenter saying, 'Not only did she vape in your hospital room, she decided to pet your daughter while she was partially inside you! Both are so unsanitary and disrespectful! WTF?!'
Another commenter added, 'If she can't see why boundaries were violated, she clearly doesn't know what to change so she doesn't violate them again.'
