It was a Christmas party to remember, or so it seemed. Ford, a man with a penchant for grand plans, had invited friends and relatives to his home in Mwisho wa Lami. The party was set to be a lavish affair, with music, food, and drinks aplenty. But little did Ford know, his Christmas party was about to be ruined by the arrival of the police.

According to Mwalimu Andrew, a friend of Ford's, the police arrived at Ford's home on December 24th, in search of him. Ford, however, was not at home, and had gone to Mwalimu Andrew's parent's place. The police gave chase, but Ford managed to evade them by swimming across the nearby River Yala, also known as Lake Lukose.

But what crime had Ford committed to warrant such a dramatic escape? The answer remains a mystery, as Ford has been unreachable since that day. His friend Pius, who had been driving Ford around, has also gone into hiding.

Despite the drama that unfolded, Mwalimu Andrew reflects on the week that Ford and Pius spent in Mwisho wa Lami, and how it was his best time of the year. 'The one week that Ford and Pius were around was my best time this year,' he says. 'I can't wait for the two return!'

But for now, it seems that Ford's grand plans have been put on hold, and his Christmas party will have to wait another year.
