On December 29, 2019, former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee took to Instagram to express his concern over a missing pair of sunglasses.
According to Mulee, the sunglasses were 'dropped' when he was touring the countryside to attend a football tournament organized by his friend and co-radio presenter Joshua Ogidi Oyoo, popularly known as Gidi Gidi.
Mulee, a well-known football pundit and radio presenter, posted a picture of himself wearing the sunglasses alongside his wife to emphasize his claim.
He wrote on Instagram, 'Good people of Kanyamua yesterday I dropped my sunglasses at Gidi Gidi Cup finals. Anybody who can get them a reward of Sh5000 awaits him/her.'
As a renowned figure with a substantial income, Mulee's offer of Sh5,000 for the return of his sunglasses has sparked curiosity among his fans and followers.
Mulee has had a distinguished career in football, having won the continental title with Kenya Breweries (now known as Tusker FC) in 1994 and leading Harambee Stars to the Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia in 2004.
