As we begin a new year, many of us make New Year's resolutions, but often struggle to keep them. However, it's not just about making resolutions at the start of the year, but about making them every day.

According to Oprah Winfrey, 'Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.' This mindset can help us approach each day with a sense of renewal and possibility.

By making daily resolutions, we can break free from the cycle of frustration and unhappiness that often comes with failed New Year's resolutions. We can start anew every day, without waiting for the next year to begin.

As Karen Muriuki, a correspondent with the Nation, notes, 'You don't have just one opportunity to carry out a decision or achieve a goal. If you failed to carry them out, you don't need to wait for the beginning of the next year. You can make a new resolution every day, and you can start again every day, if you failed in your first, second or even third attempt.'

So, why not make daily resolutions a habit? Write them down, repeat them every day with belief and faith, and be willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish them. With motivation, persistence, willpower, and self-discipline, you can trigger your subconscious mind to help you and motivate you towards success, happiness, and health.
