On December 28, 2019, Norwich vs Tottenham ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Carrow Road, with both sides settling for a share of the spoils.
Christian Eriksen canceled out Mario Vrancic's goal, which had given Norwich the lead in the 18th minute. Vrancic fired home past Paulo Gazzaniga to make it 1-0 for the home team.
Teamu Pukki thought he had made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute after latching onto a diagonal pass from Vrancic, but the goal was ruled out for an offside.
Spurs were lucky not to have gone down by two goals at the break, but they managed to stay in the game and came back strongly in the second half.
Ten minutes after the restart, Eriksen put Spurs back on level terms with a curling free-kick that gave Tim Krul no chance in goal.
However, Norwich restored their lead in the 61st minute thanks to an own goal from Aurier, who was unlucky to put the ball into the back of his own net.
But Kane won a penalty in the 81st minute after he was fouled by Christoph Zimmerman and the Englishman stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick to even the score at full time.
The match ended in a draw as Tottenham failed to move up the table, but Norwich are still battling for survival at the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, Victor Wanyama, who has been linked with a January departure, did not make it to Spurs' matchday squad, with Mourinho overlooking the Kenyan in his team setup.
