Beat the Queue: 4 Ways to Pay School Fees from Home ¶
As the festive season comes to an end, parents are gearing up for the new school term. One of the biggest concerns for many is how to pay their children's school fees without wasting hours in long banking hall queues.
Co-operative Bank has come to the rescue with four convenient ways to pay school fees from the comfort of your own home.
Here are the four options:
- MCo-op Cash app: This mobile app allows you to log in, select 'Other Payments', choose 'School Fees', enter the account to pay from, student number, and confirm the transaction. You'll receive an SMS confirming the successful transaction.
- M-Pesa PayBill: Simply go to Lipa na M-Pesa, enter the business code 400222, amount, M-Pesa PIN, and confirm the transaction. You'll receive an SMS confirming the successful transaction.
- Co-op PesaLink: This service allows you to pay school fees through a Co-op Kwa Jirani agent. Just walk in, provide the agent with the student's details and school name, and pay the fees. You'll receive a receipt.
- Co-op Internet Banking (Co-opNet): Log in to Co-op Internet Banking, select 'Bank Transfer', enter the required details for the school's account, confirm the transfer, and print out your receipt once the payment goes through.
