On Saturday morning, a security crackdown in Nairobi led to the recovery of 150 cell phones and five laptops, and the arrest of ten individuals.

Nairobi Central OCPD Mark Wanjala attributed the arrests to an organized criminal gang that has been terrorizing city residents, and urged the public to report any stolen items to the Kamukunji Police Station.

Among those arrested were individuals of different nationalities, whom police believe colluded with locals to resell stolen goods.

The suspects are currently being processed and will be arraigned in court on Monday.

As part of their efforts to combat crime, police are now calling on the public to be cautious and vigilant in the face of marauding criminals.
