On December 28, 2019, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) offered a new contract to Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, but with conditions that may limit his future options.
According to sources, Rohr has been open to listening to offers from other football associations since January 1, 2020, but the NFF wants to retain him until after the 2020 African Cup of Nations.
