On December 28, 2019, Pyramids Football Club made a significant change in their coaching staff by appointing Croatian coach Ante Cacic as their new manager. This decision comes just over a week after the club sacked Sebastien Desabre, citing a poor run of results that included losses to Aswan and Zamalek.
Desabre's departure was followed by the hiring of former Al Ahly head coach Abdel-Aziz Abdel-Shafy as the club's caretaker manager. However, it appears that the club has now opted for a more permanent solution with the appointment of Cacic.
