On December 24, 2019, Christians in Korea released a collective statement condemning Pastor Jun Kwang-hoon's blasphemous remarks, which have sparked controversy worldwide.

The statement, signed by Christian believers, urged the members of the Christian Council of Korea (CCK) to quit the organization, citing that there is no salvation in it.

According to the statement, Pastor Jun Kwang-hoon made remarks that 'if you mess around, I will kill you,' and other similar statements, which the Christians deemed as blaspheming God and the Holy Spirit.

They emphasized that Pastor Jun's words are the words of the CCK, and that the true identity of the false spirit (god) over the CCK is finally exposed.

The Christians also expressed their fear that South Korea will be pointed out and blamed by the whole world as a country of the devil, due to Pastor Jun Kwang-hoon's actions.

A representative of Shincheonji Church of Jesus added that Pastor Jun Kwang-hoon's assertions expose his heretic beliefs that use religion for power and oppose God.

The CCK, a political organization masked under religion, must be shut down immediately, the representative emphasized.
