On December 27, 2019, a six-month-old baby boy was brutally killed by a rooster in Malava, Kakamega County.
The incident occurred when the rooster, which was trying to protect its chicks, attacked the baby boy who was in the same compound.
According to eyewitnesses, the baby boy was left with severe injuries and later died.
The mother of the baby boy, Robai Toboko, claimed that her family had been traumatized by the incident and that her son had been killed by the rooster.
"I was watching my child when the rooster suddenly attacked him. In the process of trying to protect its chicks, the rooster attacked my child and he died," Toboko said.
