Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez has reaffirmed his love for his childhood sweetheart and wife, Sofia Balbi, by renewing their wedding vows in a star-studded ceremony.
The couple, who have been married for 10 years, tied the knot in 2010 and have three children together, including Delfina, Benjamin, and Laurato.
The ceremony, which took place on Boxing Day at the Hotel Fasano Las Pledras in Uruguay, was attended by fellow football stars, including Lionel Messi, who was accompanied by his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo.
Other notable guests included Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who were accompanied by their partners.
Speaking after the event, Suarez, who wore a dark blue Dolce and Gabbana suit, described the day as important for him and his wife, joking that his wife was the 'most difficult defender' he couldn't escape from.
The couple's renewal of vows comes after 10 years of marriage, and Suarez has made it clear that his love for Sofia remains strong.
