On December 20th, a young Kenyan woman was physically assaulted by her boyfriend in Nairobi West. Despite reporting the incident to the Nairobi West Patrol Base, the police officers have been uncooperative in bringing the perpetrator to justice.

The boyfriend, identified as Joshua, alias 'Josh', is reportedly living freely in Juja Town, despite committing the heinous act. The victim's family has expressed frustration at the lack of action from the police, who seem reluctant to pursue the case.

In a message to uhondo.news, the victim's family member expressed their concern, stating: 'We need justice for her. The police at Nairobi West are just reluctant. Nothing has been done and we shouldn’t allow this.'

As the case remains unresolved, the community is left wondering why the police are not taking adequate action to bring the perpetrator to justice.
