December 27, 2019 - StarTimes has expanded its documentary offerings in Kenya with the introduction of two new channels, Love Nature and Smithsonian, available to both terrestrial and satellite subscribers.

Love Nature, a 24/7 wild and marine animals documentary channel, is now accessible to Basic and Classic bouquet subscribers on the terrestrial platform, while satellite television subscribers on Smart and Super bouquets can also enjoy the channel.

Smithsonian Channel, a 24/7 science and exploration documentary channel, is available to Classic and Super bouquet subscribers on terrestrial and satellite television platforms, respectively.

According to StarTimes Regional Marketing Director, Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga, the move aims to provide more value for money to subscribers while availing premium content.

"The introduction of Love Nature and Smithsonian demonstrates our progressive efforts towards enriching our subscriber's television viewing experience," said Mr. Nsubuga. "Through the introduction of premium content at the most affordable subscription rates in the country, the two channels now join Discovery Family, ID, Animaux, and Viasat H+L as part of our documentary content genre available to Kenyan subscribers."
