Three Arrested as Flying Squad Police Recover Stolen Vehicles

On December 27, 2019, the Flying Squad detectives received a tip-off from members of the public, leading to the arrest of three individuals suspected of selling stolen motor vehicles.

The suspects, Nicholas Opiyo, 20, from Kariobangi North, Kelvin Oduor Demba, 28, from Baba Dogo, and Patrick Mburugu, 36, from Meru County but residing in Ngara-Nairobi, were trailed to Meru where a Toyota Fielder, registration number KCH 301R, was recovered.

Additionally, in a similar operation in Nairobi County, the DCI detectives intercepted two Toyota Hilux motor vehicles with double registration number KCE 600P and detained them pending further investigation.
