On December 26, 2019, Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp insisted that it's not yet time to celebrate despite the team's dominant 4-0 win over Leicester City, which has given them a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The match saw Roberto Firmino score twice from Trent Alexander-Arnold's crosses, with James Milner scoring a penalty and Alexander-Arnold rounding off the scoring with a brilliant goal.

"With all the things around us, the biggest quality of my boys is that we are not listening really, we are completely focused on what we have to do," Klopp said in an interview with Amazon Prime.

"I'm really good at partying, but I never wanted to have a party without a reason. If there is something to celebrate, I will tell you, until then we will work," he added.

Despite winning the Club World Cup just a day earlier, Liverpool showed no signs of fatigue as they outclassed Leicester from start to finish.

"It's important there is a little bit of perspective," said Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel. "If you told us we would be in the position we are at the start of the season, we would have taken it. We take this as inspiration, that's the level. Those are probably the two best teams in the world at the minute and that's the level we have to aspire to be," he said.
