On December 26, 2019, a fatal crash occurred on the Kitale-Eldoret road in western Kenya, resulting in the deaths of three people.
The accident involved a bus and a truck carrying sheep, which collided in the Nangili area.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash occurred after the bus and the truck collided.
Those who lost their lives in the crash included the drivers of both vehicles and one passenger, as reported by Citizen TV on December 26, 2019.
Confirming the incident, Likuyani OCPD Boniface Lisiolo stated that the sheep were being transported to the Munyaka Eldoret market.
Some of the injured were taken to the Eldoret Referral Hospital, while others were treated at the Likuyani County Hospital.
Director of Public Prosecutions Haji has called for all traffic police officers to be equipped with body cameras to prevent corruption.
