Published on December 27, 2019

Rev. Edward Ondachi is a multifaceted individual who wears many hats. He is a pastor, poet, and visual artist, with a passion for using his talents to serve others. With a background in Bible and Theology, and an MA in Leadership, Rev. Ondachi has served in various capacities, including Lead Pastor at Nairobi Chapel, Ongata Rongai, and Creative Director at Mavuno Church.

As the founder and patron of The Art Fest, a platform that promotes artistic skill and prowess within the body of Christ and beyond, Rev. Ondachi is dedicated to helping artists find their place in the church and use their gifts to serve others.

When asked about how he marks the Christmas holiday, Rev. Ondachi shared that he considers Christmas a season, not just a day. He focuses on family and uses the opportunity to connect with loved ones and with God.

Regarding the role of the church in society, Rev. Ondachi emphasized the importance of the church being a moral compass and speaking out against corruption. He believes that the church has lost its voice in recent times, but that there are still men and women of the cloth who are willing to speak out.

As a pastor and artist, Rev. Ondachi has found himself playing a unique role in helping artists find their place in the church. He is passionate about using his talents to serve others and to make a positive impact in the world.
