On Thursday evening, a devastating accident occurred on the Kitale-Eldoret highway, claiming the lives of three people and leaving others injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when a bus collided with a van carrying sheep, resulting in a tragic loss of life.
The deceased included the drivers of both vehicles and one passenger, who lost their lives in the incident.
Confirming the incident, Likuyani OCPD Boniface Lisiolo stated that the sheep were being transported to Munyaka in Eldoret.
The injured were rushed to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret and the Likuyani County Hospital for medical attention.
It's worth noting that the initial report of eight deaths was later corrected to three.
