Harrison Mumia, the president of the Atheists Society in Kenya, has been at the center of a social media storm after being spotted with Jeptum, an official rumored to be appointed as assistant secretary, at a lodging in Nairobi's Koinange Street.
Jeptum, who has been serving in her second month, has been associated with Mumia, and their connection was reportedly facilitated by a close acquaintance of Jeptum's.
As a result, Mumia was promoted to treasurer, sparking concerns about the society's leadership and decision-making processes.
Outgoing officials, including Alex, were reportedly purged from the office by Mumia, who has been accused of engaging in immoral activities and promoting a culture of fear and intimidation within the society.
Many members have quit the society in recent times, citing Mumia's leadership style and his emphasis on worshiping and bowing down to him as reasons for their departure.
