On Thursday evening, a devastating accident occurred on the Kitale-Eldoret highway, claiming the lives of eight people and leaving others injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when a bus collided with a van carrying sheep, which were being transported to Munyaka in Eldoret.
Confirming the incident, Likuyani OCPD Boniface Lisiolo stated that the sheep were being ferried to Munyaka in Eldoret.
The injured were rushed to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret and others to the Likuyani County Hospital.
