Bonfire Adventures Under Fire

Kenya's tourism industry has been boosted by several successful local businesses, including Bonfire Adventures, a company led by CEO Simon Kabu. However, the company is now facing criticism after a viral complaint from a client who alleged the company shortchanged her in a botched trip to Dubai, valued at Sh250K ($2500).

The client's complaint has opened up hidden wounds, with numerous clients sharing their negative experiences with the company on Google Search. While some clients have praised Bonfire Adventures for their excellent customer care and delivery, the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly negative.

One client, Jane Mubari, gave the company a one-star rating and wrote, 'It's been a while since I was treated so badly! Horrible experience from very rude staff, unanswered phone calls and a lot of follow up to do.' Another client, Murali G, noted that the company's driver was not motivated enough to do the game drive, and they were forced to pay park fees for 48 hours while only doing a game drive for less than 24 hours.

CEO Simon Kabu has since refunded the client who made the viral complaint, but the incident has raised concerns about the company's customer service and business practices. The company's response to the client's complaint has been criticized as arrogant, and many potential clients are left wondering if they will have a similar experience.

Take a look at the Google Search reviews of Bonfire Adventures to see the full extent of the complaints.
