Jasmeet Singh Chana, the newly crowned Group N Champion, is looking forward to the 2020 Kenya National Rally Championship with great expectations.
Known as 'Iceman' in racing circles, Chana has already made a name for himself in the Kenyan rallying scene, having won several category titles including the 2WD twice in 2007 and 2009, Division 1 in 2015, Division 3 in 2013, Group S in 2011, and Group N in an Evo X.
Chana's impressive list of achievements includes a KNRC podium finish in 2014, where he came third overall during the Kenya Motor Sports Club (KMSC) organised round in Machakos.
Despite facing challenges, including a lack of sponsorship, Chana remains optimistic about his chances in the upcoming championship.
'I may not achieve the intended KNRC clean sweep but will have surely left a lasting impression on the Kenyan rallying scene what with the insatiable appetite for success,' Chana said.
Chana is currently working on an ambitious Classic Car project, where he is building a similar Datsun HA10 machine his dad rallied on back in the day.
He is being sponsored by Identisys, a leading card solution firm.
