Tottenham Hotspur's Jose Mourinho faced a major selection headache ahead of the match against Brighton & Hove Albion on December 26, 2019, due to the absence of Heung-min Son, who was serving a three-match ban.

Despite the challenge, Spurs managed to stage a dramatic comeback to beat the Seagulls 2-1, with Dele Alli and Harry Kane scoring crucial goals.

Adam Webster broke the deadlock in the 37th minute, heading home from a freekick to make it 1-1, but Kane equalised in the second half after pouncing on a loose ball.

Dele Alli doubled the advantage in the 71st minute with a lovely lofted finish over the keeper after being set up by Serge Aurier, securing a vital win for Spurs.

Jose Mourinho's men now sit fifth on the league standings with 29 points, having bounced back from a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in their last league match.
