Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has been warned by Wiper leaders to desist from attacking party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, or face disciplinary action.
On Thursday, a group of Wiper leaders, led by Kitui Senator Enock Wambua, Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, and party Secretary General Peter Mathuki, held a press conference in Machakos to address Muthama's recent outbursts against the party leader.
According to Mathuki, the party is considering using legal channels to discipline Muthama for his stance against Kalonzo, which they deem as disloyal to the party.
Senator Wambua echoed Mathuki's sentiments, accusing Muthama of attempting to split the Kamba Nation.
The warning comes just a day after Muthama accused Kalonzo of auctioning the Kamba nation to the highest bidder, a claim that has been met with strong opposition from Wiper leaders.
