Forbes has released its list of the highest-paid athletes of the decade, with retired American boxer Floyd Mayweather taking the top spot.

Mayweather earned a staggering $915 million between 2010 and 2019, largely due to his high-profile fights with Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor.

He edged out Cristiano Ronaldo, who came in second with $800 million in earnings, and Lionel Messi, who took third place with $750 million.
