Rosemary Odinga's Miraculous Recovery from Blindness

December 26, 2019 - Rosemary Odinga, daughter of ODM leader Raila Odinga, has regained her eyesight after two years of struggling with blindness.

According to reports, Rosemary was admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi in February 2017 after collapsing in Naivasha. She was later flown to South Africa for specialized treatment due to a non-cancerous brain tumour that caused her blindness.

It took more than two years for Rosemary to fully recover, but she finally announced the good news at a church in Siaya on Christmas Day, thanking Kenyans for praying for her during the most trying moments of her life.

Several Kenyans have taken to social media to congratulate Rosemary on her miraculous recovery, with some even urging her to eye the Langata Constituency seat in the 2022 elections.

"If news about Rosemary Odinga regaining eyesight is not good to you, you are a sadist," tweeted Duncan Makori.

"Rosemary Odinga regains her eyesight after two years of struggling. Some good news here. Whatever problem you are going through God will help you overcome. Believe?" tweeted PAUWORLD.

Before her illness, Rosemary had declared her interest in the Kibra Constituency seat, but she had to step down to concentrate on her health.
