As the 2019/2020 Kenya Premier League campaign enters its second leg, KCB FC is keen on maintaining its positive results. The team has won seven games, drawn four, and lost two, amassing 25 points so far.
According to tactician Godfrey Oduor, the team's focus is now on reducing the number of goals conceded, with the defence having performed well.
"The defence has been good and the focus now is on reducing the number of goals conceded," Oduor said.
Despite struggling with goal conversion, the team has shown excellent form in recent weeks, thumping Wazito FC 2-1 in Machakos over the weekend. Enock Agwanda scored in the 35th minute, while Simon Munala netted a header in the 67th minute.
With 21 goals netted so far, the team has shown promise, with Enock Agwanda leading the charge with eight goals. Reagan Otieno and Simon Abuko have also contributed with three and two goals apiece.
The team will kick off the second leg with clashes against Mathare United on January 4 at Kasarani Stadium, followed by matches against Sofapaka and Chemilil.
