December 24, 2019, marked a day when a Facebook user, Eunice Kerubo Ogega, became a person of interest after a Facebook post calling on the Alshabaab terror group to eliminate a section of Mt. Kenya leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto.

The targeted Tanga Tanga MPs include Alice Wahome (Kandara), Cate Waruguru (Laikipia), Moses Kuria (Gatundu), Kimani Ngujiri (Bahati), and Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu).

Her post has not been well received by a section of Kenyans who are pushing for a #MatiangiArrestKerubo. The citizens are calling upon the Interior and Coordination of National Security boss to arrest her.

Displeased tweeps termed her sentiments as not only tribal politics but also a way of glorifying terrorism.

A section of Kenyans further believes that Kerubo is a woman on a mission and under instructions from someone to attack the DP Ruto allies. Self-declared General, Miguna Miguna, categorically stated that she was an agent of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Historically, a number of Kenyans have been arrested over statements they have made on their social media platforms.
