Samidoh, a celebrated mugithi artist, has spoken candidly about his life, including his early days and how he met his wife Edith.

Published on December 26, 2019, Samidoh revealed that unlike many men, Edith was the first woman in his life, and they met while in high school.

Samidoh, a father of two, attributed his ease in approaching Edith to the fact that she was easy to talk to, unlike many women he had encountered before.

Speaking during an interview with Betty Kyallo, Samidoh shared that he and Edith had not planned to get married, but they eventually tied the knot.

When asked about his past relationships, Samidoh proudly declared, 'I do not have an ex. I hear people saying getting experience is a good thing but I did not get experience.'

Edith, Samidoh's wife, also shared her side of the story, saying that she was attracted to Samidoh's loving and caring nature, which she described as 'a cartoon in his own way.'

Samidoh's life was not without its challenges, however. He revealed that his father passed away when he was young, leaving his family to be thrown out by their uncles.

With the little cash from his father's pension, Samidoh's mother bought land in Nyandarua, where the family struggled to make ends meet.

At one point, Samidoh left school in class 7 for two terms to take care of someone's cows, earning a meager Ksh 300 per month.
